The oven is in........

So after 3 weeks of eating sandwichs and bbqing we finally have a stove. There were some trials and tribulations to get this stove in. First we found out that the hole for the stove was too small. So Blake being the handy man that he is (not) decided that we could shave a part of the cabinet off and the oven would fit fine. So we went and purchased the oven and it had to be delivered a week after the purchase, which sucked. Once the oven was dropped off we were so excited to eat a real meal. We got the oven half way into the hole and there was no way that it was going to fit anf to top it off the piece the Blake shaved off was now prohibitng the drawers on the right side to open. Well we couldn't have that. So after all the arguing with one another we had a construction guy come out and move the left hand cupboard over about 1 inch and TA DA the oven fits perfectly. I think we learned our lesson in that Blake and I are not cut out for home improvement. We will just hire people from here on out.

Next up is the counter tops. Can't you invision the granite counters in these photos!!!! Kepp your fingers crossed those go smoothly, and yes we are having a professional install them.
