The most beautiful sound in the world!!

Addison laughed for the first time today and it was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. Nothing warms your heart more than hearing your child laugh for the first time. Blake and I actually got it on video and we were so excited!

Spring is here and Addison is 2 months old

I can't believe my baby is already 2 months old. Where has the time gone? Addison's stats for 2 months:

weight: 11 lbs 8 oz (70th percentile)
height: 24 inches (off the charts)

I think we may have a tall skinny thing on our hands. She has already grown out of her 3 month PJs and now she is in to her 6 month jammies. Our pediatrician called addison a princess with attitude. She already is telling us what she wants to do and how she wants to do it. Blake and I may be in some real trouble here.

Addison already for Spring and Summer to finally be here!

Baby Hausmann Nursery 2

Ok, so still not all the way done, but we are getting there. I still have to do something with the window and I have to find a rocker to put where the stroller is. I am ordering shelves to go above her dresser and then we should be complete. I took these new fabulous photos with my awesome new camera the hubby bought me for Christmas. The camera will be great when this little one decides to make her debut.

Anyone know where I can find a good rocking chair?

Baby Names

I will have to say one of the most difficult tasks about having a baby is choosing their name. You don't' want to give it an old persons name or a name that wont mature over time. You don't want to give it a name that someone can make fun of or torture you with. So Blake and I have finally narrowed it down to 4 names. We do have our favorites but we would love some input.

1. Reagan Elizabeth Hausmann
2. Rylee Elizabeth Hausmann
3. Peyton Elizabeth Hausmann
4. Addison Elizabeth Hausmann

what is your vote?

kauai 2010

I just got back from my favorite place on earth, Kauai. This year we took Blake's little brother and his girlfriend. We had a great time snorkeling, eating, lounging, ziplining, and riding on the catamaran. Here are some photos for your pleasure.

New Orleans trip

I know it has been awhile since I last blogged but life has been happening but nothing to write about. It did dawn on me that I have not shared my photos of the wonderful city of new orleans. I work for a company that requires me to travel round the United States. In March I visited Nawlins and enjoyed the food, culture, history, and people. I am bound and determined to return to this city again and explore even more.

I know it is totally stupid to blog about but this is about the only exciting thing happening in my life at this moment. Oh I guess there is one more thing, WE ARE GOING TO HAWAII in JUNE!!!! with the brother in-law and his hopefully soon to be wife (we r really hoping for a question to be popped in hawaii)!

Obviously I posted pictures.....

okay so do you think we should keep those paintings or get rid of them?

They got it all

Well as far as I have been told they got all my irregular cells out and I am free. Unfortunately I have to see the dermatologist 2x a year for regular check ups. You would think I hate the sun but not true I am still a worshipper but I will put on better sun screen from here on out. I can't miss days like this. Especially when I am in Hawaii this June! Look out here we come.

This is what happens when you live in the sun....

So I went to the Dermatologist and I had a mole that had irregular cells. Today I got what they call a punch. They literally took a cookie cutter like tool and took a hole out of my skin. I have two layers of stitches and as you can see quite the bandages. The good thing is I am NOT allowed to shave my leg for 2 weeks.......... sorry Blake! LOL :) :)

So to all you tanners out there, stay away from the sun!! It is not your friend.
